Hello friends, I hope everyone is getting in some great gaming this summer. For me, summer comes and GenCon prep begins. Infinite Black is always there to greet fans and showcase products only available during conventions (well, and all the other products, of course). That means my work becomes more intense until GenCon in over.
And this year doubly so, as GenCon has approved at least two sessions for the NOCTURNUS RPG on Thursday, July 31st. These sessions are entitled "The Silence at Blackwood Keep," and features a haunting introduction to the game. While it features a classic dungeon crawl, other adventure elements will highlight situations special to the world setting of Solum as well as to the scenario itself. It will also give players the opportunity to be a little competitive with other groups playing the scenario, seeing who can get deepest in before session time expires. The scenario itself is a prequel to the long awaited Infinite Black story line and adventure series "Journey to the Tree of Sorrows."
All this has made juggling the demands of DarkVision and Dungeonmor all the more challenging. Today is July 1st and my goal was to have the free release in June. However we won't miss it by much--the extra work has been to include some additional material in the free release, so hopefully it will give you a nice intro to the game. You can even comment on the the game and influence its continued development here
on DarkCrawl.com after the release.
I expect to be finished with the free release materials either this week or next week, so keep a lookout for updates.
